The Allison E. Fisher Memorial Fund, Inc. is a 501[c(3)] organization established in June, 1998, in the state of Maryland.

Mission Statement

The Allison E. Fisher Memorial Fund promotes awareness of breast cancer in young women by telling Allison's story, providing scholarships and awards in Allison's name, and supporting organizations that focus on awareness, action and advocacy of breast health.

Goals and Priorities

• Collaborate with the Timothy Grinage Memorial Fund to provide home support (meals, light housekeeping, etc.) to cancer patient.
• Continue holding Spirit of Allison Jeans Day at Furley Elementary School and explore expanding to other workplaces.
• Continue hosting recipients of the Allison E. Fisher undergraduate scholarship in Journalism and the Spirit of Allison Award at the annual "Evening with an Angel on a Jazz Note" fund raiser.
• Continue to donate money to the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) and other groups that focus on awareness, action and advocacy of breast health.
• Continue donating money in Allison’s name to the scholarship committee at St. Stephen A.M.E. in Essex, MD.
• Continue donating money in Allison's name to the Martha Fisher Scholarship at Price Memorial A.M.E. in Atlantic City, NJ.
• Continue to work with the Health Ministry at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church to implement the American Cancer Society’s Body & Soul program, which encourages the congregation to eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day for better health.
