The Allison E. Fisher Memorial Fund, along with Charm City Run, Mizuno Shoes and the Jewish Times sponsored the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) team in the race. Family and Friends of Allison joined the team. There were 73 people on the team. We were the second largest team in the race. The Baltimore Sun wrote an article, entitled All for One about the formation of the team.

The team wore lime green tee-shirts with the YSC logo on the front and the sponsor names on the back. We joined approximately 25,000 people who ran and walked in the rain to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer.

After the race, some of the young survivors, their supporters and family and friends of Allison congregated at the YSC booth in the sponsors' tent.

Family and friends of Allison gathered to walk in her memory, as well as celebrate her mother, Pat, who is a breast cancer survivor. Other family members who have lost their battles with cancer were also remembered: Anita French, Linda Reed, Sally Godfrey Gray, Pam Grinage and Tim Grinage.

Wearing our tee shirts picturing Allison, we covered the 3.1mile course through scenic Baltimore neighborhoods. This year, in addition to the regulars, we were fortunate enough to have family from Kailua, Hawaii, Paul Schrader, walk with us.
