Scholarships and book awards in memory of Allison are administered by: the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the Scholarship committee of St. Stephen A.M.E. Church in Essex, MD and the Martha Fisher Scholarship committee of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Atlantic City, NJ. The Spirit of Allison graduation award is administered by the officers of the Allison E. Fisher Memorial Fund.
Eligibility Criteria for the NABJ Allison E. Fisher Scholarship

Competition for the $2,500 scholarship is open to any foreign or U.S. student who is currently attending an accredited four-year university. All Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school during the award year. Eligible students must be currently majoring in journalism-print, photography, radio and television-or planning a career in one of those fields. Previous NABJ scholarship winners are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for the St. Stephen A.M.E. Allison E. Fisher Book Award
All graduating seniors who attend St. Stephen A.M.E. and who have been accepted to a two-year community college or a four-year college or university are eligible for the $300 book award. In addition, Elementary, Middle School and High School students are given cash rewards and recognition in church for perfect attendance and honor roll grades. Allison's Fund contributes $500 annually to the scholarship committee. Selections are made by the scholarship committee. St. Stephen A.M.E. is located at 1601 Old Eastern Ave in Essex, MD. Competition for the $500 cash award is open to all graduating seniors at Perry Hall High school in Perry Hall, MD. The award recognizes a graduating senior who writes the best essay telling how he/she exhibits characteristics that Allison exemplified: leadership, artistic expression, courage, congeniality and volunteerism. Eligibility Criteria for the Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Martha Fisher Scholarship
The Martha Fisher Scholarship committee at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion rewards Elementary, Middle School and High School students for perfect attendance and honor roll grades. The Allison E. Fisher Memorial Fund donates money to honor Martha Fisher, who was Allison's paternal grandmother. The scholarship committee at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion selects all recipients of awards. Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church is located on Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City, NJ.
